6th Annual Bloomsday Festival
Thursday – June 15, 2023
5-8 PM
At the beautiful historic Summit Manor Reception House
275 Summit Avenue – Saint Paul, MN
$20 at the door includes: Appetizers, beer, wine, music, céilí dance, dramatic readings, best period dress contest, croquet and presentation of our annual IN MN Bloomsday Literary Award. Family friendly event – children 14 and under get in free.
Period dress encouraged but not necessary.
We will also be announcing Irish Network Minnesota’s Third Annual Bloomsday Literary Award at our Bloomsday Festival – $1,000 prize.

Calling all Minnesota published writers of non-fiction!
Irish Network Minnesota is hosting the 3rd Annual Bloomsday Literary Award as part of the Irish Network MN’s 6th Annual Bloomsday Festival! The non-fiction book contest will be open to all published (and self-published) Minnesota writers.
Submissions are open March 1, 2023 through June 1, 2023.
Eligibility
The entries will be judged on:
- Celtic subject matter, viewpoint or context
- Unique writing style
- Creativity
Submission guidelines
Electronic submissions via e-mail only, reprints and multiple submissions will be accepted if submitted by individual e-mail.
Award
- $1000 Award
- The judges’ decisions will be finalized by June 12, 2023, with the announcement of the winner at Irish Network MN’s 6th Annual Bloomsday Festival, Thursday, June 15, 2023.
