    Celebrate Bloomsday 2020 Virtually! Irish Network Minnesota will not be hosting our annual Bloomsday Festival this year due to Covid 19.     Collection for The Midway Food and Empowerment Project

    There are many neighborhood cleanups, food drives, and community groups needing donations in the wake of George Floyd’s death. The Midway Project aims to collect and distribute food and resources to the midway area community on an ongoing basis.     IN MN’s 1st Story Project presentation will be on Monday 4/20/20, 7 PM at Morrisey’s Pub at 913 W Lake St, Minneapolis, MN 55408 We are looking for writers, storytellers, musicians, and anyone to participate in our new performance series sharing stories of immigration and Irish identity. If you want to share why your Irishness is important to you, we want to hear from you. You don’t have to have experience as a writer or performer – we will help you share your story with a welcoming audience. Performances happen in a pub, cafe, library, or community space near you. The storytellers will tell their stories accompanied by live music.…

    2020 Distinguished Irish Women

    The Saint Paul St Patrick’s Association has many dignitaries, Mr Pat, Miss Shamrock and the distinguished Irish Woman of the year. The 2020 Distinguished Irish Woman is actually four remarkable local women, Jane, Brigid, Kate and Rita-the McDonald sisters who are mainstays in local activist circles. They have been working on behalf of peace and social justice for the past 50 years. For decades, they helped keep the weekly Wednesday night protests on the Lake Street Bridge going.     St Patrick’s Day Parade 2020

    Tuesday, March 17, 2020, beginning at noon, join Irish Network Minnesota and our partners March Out Hunger and the Irish Gazette as we support our local food shelves at this year’s 54th annual St Paul St. Patrick’s Day Association parade. Annually Irish Network MN teams with the St Patrick’s Association and Minnesota Food Share to march out hunger. It is a statewide, grassroots food-drive, in which, every dollar donated goes to local food shelves.
